Commitment, Challenge and Opportunity

Currently, nations worldwide face impacts from greenhouse gas issues and climate change, leading to increased focus on mitigation strategies. This stems partly from the 30th United Nations Climate Change Conference (COP30) in Belém, Brazil, which emphasized energy transition, emission reductions, and strictly maintaining the global temperature rise below 1.5°C by 2100 under the Paris Agreement. It also highlighted the necessity for accelerated climate adaptation and resilience. Similarly, Thailand officially announced its Net Zero target for 2050 at COP30 on November 19, 2025, alongside a goal to reduce emissions by 47% by 2035.

Consequently, to help control global average temperatures and align with national and global emission reduction targets, the Company is committed to finding sustainable ways to reduce greenhouse gas emissions across its entire supply chain. We have initiated the Science Based Targets initiative (SBTi) framework to define science-based reduction targets and pathways toward Net Zero. Furthermore, we continue developing new initiatives and exploring additional alternatives to effectively reduce greenhouse gas emissions.

Management and Operational Approach

The Company is committed to reducing greenhouse gas emissions across its operations and throughout the entire supply chain. We have compiled a Carbon Footprint for Organization (CFO) inventory and calculated emissions following the Greenhouse Gas Protocol and the Thailand Greenhouse Gas Management Organization (TGO) guidelines. To ensure accuracy, reliability, and transparency, we engage a credible Third Party for data assurance according to international standards.

Furthermore, we integrate Circular Economy and Science-Based Targets (SBTi) into our business strategy across the value chain to address climate change. We aim to reduce greenhouse gas emissions and support the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), particularly SDG 12 and SDG 13. Through proactive management aligned with international standards, the Company demonstrates a clear stance in supporting public policies or government climate legislation. We strive to minimize negative environmental impacts while creating positive outcomes for long-term sustainable growth.

The results of climate change and greenhouse gas reduction efforts in 2025 show that the Company significantly reduced Scope 2 emissions by installing Solar Rooftop systems (Phase 2 and 3) alongside purchasing Renewable Energy Certificates (REC). Consequently, this increased the renewable energy consumption proportion to 82% of total electricity usage. This demonstrates our support for national renewable energy infrastructure and reinforces our commitment to driving business toward a sustainable low-carbon society.
