Commitment, Challenge and Opportunity

Thantawan Industry Public Company Limited is committed to developing and managing a sustainable supply chain, with ethics and environmental responsibility as core business principles. We drive operations through international frameworks like ISO 14001 and adopt the Science Based Targets initiative (SBTi) to achieve Net Zero emissions. Furthermore, the Company extends this commitment to our business partners, expecting joint action across four key dimensions: energy efficiency and greenhouse gas reduction to mitigate climate change; valuing water resources while avoiding negative biodiversity impacts; strict compliance with environmental laws and reducing all forms of pollution; and applying Circular Economy concepts to maximize resource utility and minimize production waste.

The Company faces challenges from market shifts demanding eco-friendly products and increasingly stringent emission regulations, potentially raising operational costs and posing reputational risks if adaptation lags. However, these factors present significant opportunities to invest in green technology and renewable energy production systems. This includes collaborating with suppliers to elevate environmental standards throughout the supply chain, building confidence among partners and consumers, and strengthening our corporate image as a sustainability leader.

Management and Operational Approach

Thantawan Industry Public Company Limited is committed to environmentally responsible business operations, prioritizing supply chain management at every stage—from raw material procurement, production, and transportation to after-sales management. This ensures all operational processes remain eco-friendly and support the organization’s sustainable development.

Consequently, the Company established Environmental Supplier Management Guidelines for maximum supply chain sustainability, alongside practices covering collaboration with business partners from the initial stage. This begins with environmental due diligence for screening new suppliers before registration, followed by continuous assessments of existing partners to identify and monitor high-risk environmental groups, leading to collaborative management planning. Simultaneously, the Company focuses on enhancing business partner potential through clear environmental policy communication and promoting sustainability training for suppliers’ employees, ensuring all supply chain sectors align with international standards and corporate goals.

Furthermore, the Company promotes recycling waste materials generated directly from factory production processes to reduce greenhouse gas emissions and production waste. We emphasize clean energy, efficient production technologies, and developing lightweight, biodegradable, and eco-friendly packaging. Additionally, the Company promotes Circular Economy concepts and Extended Producer Responsibility (EPR), alongside continuous environmental monitoring and evaluation based on international standards. This ensures the supply chain operates transparently and efficiently while minimizing long-term environmental impacts. We also focus on developing eco-friendly product innovations and building business alliances to drive a green supply chain toward sustainable growth, contributing to natural resource conservation for society and the future world.
