Commitment, Challenge and Opportunity
Thantawan Industry Public Company Limited is committed to conducting business by strictly respecting human rights and international labor standards. We prioritize treating employees, partners, and stakeholders with fairness, transparency, and respect for human dignity. Amidst challenges in building human rights understanding and awareness across all supply chain levels, the Company sees significant opportunities to elevate human rights practices into our corporate culture to strengthen long-term trust and sustainable growth.
To reflect this commitment, the Company has announced a Human Rights Policy covering employee protection in all dimensions, with a clear stance on preventing and opposing child labor and avoiding all forms of forced labor. The Company adheres to non-discrimination principles and promotes diversity regardless of race, religion, gender, age, sexual orientation, disability, or nationality, while pledging equal pay for equal work.
Furthermore, we aim to improve employee quality of life by supporting compensation sufficient for a Living Wage, considered higher than legal minimum wage standards, alongside concrete measures to reduce and eliminate excessive working hours. We also respect and support fundamental employee rights regarding freedom of association and collective bargaining. Moreover, the Company extends social responsibility by promoting the employment of underprivileged groups and addressing youth unemployment to reduce jobless issues and create sustainable shared value.
Management and Operational Approach
Thantawan Industry Public Company Limited manages labor according to Thai Labour Standard (TLS 8001-2553) and international human rights principles, prioritizing fair employment, respecting rights and freedoms, and providing appropriate welfare. To ensure policies are implemented thoroughly, the Company communicates them to all employees, including translations into relevant languages, so every individual fully understands their rights.
Regarding risk management and legal compliance, the Company mandates rigorous labor risk assessments covering potential future businesses or projects (Due Diligence) and existing operations. We address and resolve labor issues comprehensively by establishing guidelines for wages, protecting female and child labor, and forming a Welfare Committee in the Workplace. This committee serves as a representative mechanism for communication, listening to feedback, and transparently protecting labor rights, with regular monitoring and evaluation. Furthermore, the Company elevates practices by continuously participating in industry-level workshops and initiatives related to labor standards.

In the dimension of personnel development, the Company remains committed to providing personal development training, with clearly specified courses in the annual employee development plan. This is paired with creating a safe and respectful work environment. The Company has established measures to prevent bullying and harassment, providing confidential and anonymous whistleblowing channels. We also conduct training for managers on proper skills to handle and manage bullying or harassment reports, strengthening confidence and ethical business conduct.
